Lawyer of Konnov & Sozanovsky invited to work at the European Court of Human Rights

A junior associate of Konnov & Sozanovsky, Gayane Nuridzhanyan, has been invited to work at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg (France). She will act as a junior associate in the organization that stands within the framework of the Council of Europe and is recognized as the most efficient judicial body in Europe in the field of human rights.

The Council of Europe (COE), founded in 1949, is the oldest political organisation working within Europe. It is an international organisation with 47 member states including 21 state of the Central and Eastern Europe. Five states enjoy observer status. The seat of the Council of Europe is Strasbourg (France).

The European Court of Human Rights is an international body with jurisdiction in all member  states of the Council of Europe, which are signatories to the Convention. Applications against Signatory Parties for human rights violations can be brought before the Court either by other States Parties or by individuals.
